Brown Sugar Meatloaf – Joyce Feld, Tennessee Valley Farms

Brown Sugar Meatloaf
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup ketchup
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 ½ pounds TVF ground beef    ¾ cup bread crumbs
1 small onion, chopped              ¼ tsp ground ginger
¾ cup milk                                   2 eggs
1 ¼ tsp black pepper                  salt if desired
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce
In a larger bowl, mix thoroughly all remaining ingredients.
Shape meat into a loaf and place in the middle of a lightly greased larger baking dish
Spread sugar/ketchup mixture on top of and around loaf
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour or until juices are clear

If you wish, make extra sauce to serve with meatloaf
