This Week: Sept. 8 – 14



Labor Day has come and gone making way for the fall season. That means you will see the first of the pumpkins showing up at Friday’s market from Purring Dog Farms!  There is still plenty from which to choose at the FARM Markets in Knoxville and Oak Ridge. PLUS, this is the time to think about fall planting.  Look for four types of blueberry plants and a raspberry variety to add to your garden at this week’s market.

  • Fresh Cut Flowers

  • Colored Sweet Bell Peppers

  • Tomatoes: Several varieties still available.
  • Assorted Plants, including Mums!
  • Blueberry Plants: Tifblue, Power Blue, Premier & Climax

  • Meats: Beef, Elk & Chicken in a variety of cuts available from Laurel Creek Meats and/or West Wind Farms.

  • VG’s Bakery: Oatmeal & Whole Wheat Breads, Biscuits, Mexican Cornbread, English muffin toasting bread, cookies, scones
  • Hillside Bakery: Granola (5 varieties), Honey Whole Wheat & Rustic Breads.  Blueberry Scones, Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins.
