The Knoxville and Oak Ridge Farmers Markets are operated by the non-profit East Tennessee Farmers Association for Retail Marketing (FARM). Established in 1976, this organization promotes farming and provides venues for farmers to bring products directly to consumers in local communities. FARM supports sustainable agriculture practices.
The FARM Markets operate from mid April through late November. Knoxville FARM Market operates in the parking lot of the Laurel Church of Christ at the corner of Kingston Pike and Cherokee Boulevard on Tuesdays and Fridays from 3-6 p.m. The Oak Ridge FARM Market operates adjacent to historic Jackson Square on Wednesdays 3-6 p.m., and Saturdays 8 a.m. until noon.
